Sep 8, 2010 10:09 a.m.

Wednesday, September 8

Partly cloudy, breezy, warm and humid with a few showers possible this afternoon and evening. Highs in the lower-mid 90s. Our next cold front will be making its way through the state today and tonight. There is limited moisture with this system so it is not likely we will see much rain from this cold front. What we will see from this front or at least feel from this front is cooler and less humid air from Thursday into Saturday. Sunrise: 6:52 a.m., Sunset: 7:31 p.m. Wind: W/SW at 5-15 m.p.h. Wednesday night: Partly cloudy skies with a chance for an evening shower then turning cooler by morning. Lows in the lower-mid 60s. Winds from the west-northwest at 5mph.

Thursday, September 9

Mostly sunny, cooler and a good deal less humid. Highs in the upper 80s-90. High pressure makes its way closer to the state today behind the cold front that moved by last evening. It is a little cooler and much less humid air mass than the one we had here on Wednesday. It will be more comfortable to be outside during the day today. The comfortable air sticks around at least through Saturday. Sunrise: 6:53 a.m., Sunset: 7:30 p.m. Wind: NW at 5-10 m.p.h. Thursday night: Clear and cooler. Lows in the mid-upper 50s. Winds from the northwest at 5mph.
