Friday, December 19

Friday night: Mostly cloudy skies this evening then cloudy overnight. Lows in the lower-mid 30s. We had a bright start to the day, but the clouds quickly rolled into the state this afternoon. It will be mostly cloudy and dry for any holiday shopping that needs to be done this evening and no worries about carrying an umbrella, there is no rain in the forecast. Temperatures this evening will be in the lower 40s by 8PM and 30s overnight. Winds will be light.

The next storm system throws a lot of clouds at us today with an overcast this morning and spotty light rain possible up through lunchtime then partly to mostly cloudy later in the afternoon. If we do see any measurable rain it is more likely in the southern counties with lesser chances for rain as you head north. By late in the afternoon and evening we should start to see clearing skies from the west. Winds from the northeast at 5 mph. Sunrise: 7:21 a.m., Sunset: 5:05 p.m. Wind: NE at 5 m.p.h.
